Candles
To make candles, you need: paraffin, wicks, and molds. Additionally, depending on how we want to decorate it, we might need: dye, essences, potpourri, etc.
The first step is to melt the paraffin in a double boiler; once liquid, pour it into the mold, with the wick placed at the bottom, that we will use to shape the candle (it can be glass if we want to keep the candle in that container, which is recommended, or a plastic mold that can be broken to extract the candle).
If we want the wax to acquire a specific color, it's as simple as adding a few drops of dye to the paraffin once it's liquid; tempera can be used as dye, for example.
To create several layers of different colors, wait several minutes between each layer for the wax to harden and the colors not to mix.
You can also add a few drops of some essence to perfume the candle.
As decorative elements, you can introduce flower potpourri, coffee beans, or anything else you can think of!
