A Piggy Bank Project
A great way to encourage your partner to save for a trip or any special occasion is by gifting them a piggy bank made by you. It's very simple and fun.
You'll need a balloon, some newspaper sheets, white glue, water, and paints.
The process is as follows: dilute the white glue in water, creating a mixture with the consistency of a paste. Inflate the balloon until you get the size you want for the piggy's body. Once it's inflated and tied, start placing pieces of newspaper, and with a brush, apply the glue and water mixture as if you were painting it. Remember to leave a slot for the coins. You also need to make the ears, snout, legs, and tail; for this, it's best to make a template on cardboard and then cover it and attach it to the piggy's body. Once everything is completely dry (it will take at least 24 hours), you can pop the balloon and decorate the piggy with paints to your liking.
