An Original T-Shirt
Can you imagine wearing a t-shirt with that symbol you have with your partner, that simple image that makes you smile as soon as you see it?... It might seem like the corniest idea in the world to many, mainly because of the typical and famous 'what will they say?' but after all, if it's a symbol only the two of you know, it won't even be noticeable, and besides, who cares what people think?
The idea is as follows, you should buy a plain white t-shirt that is obviously your partner's size; once that's done, select the image you want to print on it in black and white (if you've never drawn on t-shirts before, it would be ideal to choose a simple drawing). Once you have the image, stick it on a piece of cardboard or card stock and cut out the black parts of the drawing (keep in mind that this will be the area to be colored, so if when cutting with the cutter you cause a white area to go with that black part, you must make some tabs on the white area so it doesn't get lost from the rest of the drawing; if not, you can always hold that part with your hands when you go to paint, but it only creates complications). Once this is done, you just need to buy spray paints that you can find in typical dollar stores and spray using your stencil. Be careful the first time you wash the garment, as it's common for those sprays not to bleed, but you never know!
You can also use this idea with other types of symbols, for example, make t-shirts with the peace symbol, their favorite comic character, etc.
It's something original and very practical.
