A science that seems cold for love, like computing, offers us many resources to surprise our partner. In this week's romantic idea, we suggest a couple of ideas to delight someone special to you:
The first suggestion is to use a voice synthesizer to record messages that will be useful on various occasions (the Knight Rider idea, to have them say something on the phone, etc.). There are quite a few online, and in fact, Windows itself includes something similar as an accessibility option for people with disabilities. The second idea is very simple, but that doesn't take away its charm. If you copy a file and paste it with the right-click in Start/All Programs/Startup, it will open automatically every time Windows starts. This way, you can leave a text file, PowerPoint presentation, sound file, etc., ready on your partner's computer to surprise them on the next system startup.
