Once Upon a Time... Our Love Story

As children, we all read fairy tales of princesses and princes in love. Love stories that were more or less challenging but equally beautiful. So, why not turn our love story into a fairy tale?
To do this, simply buy a photo album where you can write (there are beautiful handmade bamboo ones for €10 in stores like Natura) and select photos that illustrate our particular fairy tale. In the free space left by the photo, we'll write the story. There's no need to write lengthy texts. On the first page, for example, we can put a photo of us and write underneath... 'Once upon a time, there was a princess...' We could even take the photo wearing a crown or add a castle background to the photo if we want to make it more realistic.
The second part of the idea involves recording a disc with our voice telling our story so that it's our voice narrating it. At the end, we could add a phrase or some words that don't appear in the story or explain why we're giving this gift. To make the disc less plain, it can be adorned with sound effects, typical fairy tale background music, a special song... Add a cover and put a sticker on the CD (so it doesn't just look silver), which many stationery stores, photo shops, etc., already do...
Of course, it can be done in thousands of ways without having to buy the album: a PowerPoint presentation, a video in Windows Movie Maker, or even with Word. Or even create a real book with its personalized cover and back cover, as they say around here... Imagination is the limit!
We can also take this idea as a base for the idea of the 5 senses, so we would only have to choose the gifts for the other 3. I'll use it for my first anniversary, and I'll let you know how this fairy tale ends ;)
