Say It in Writing
Idea dedicated to 'Wini.' Because I love her, and I tell her :)
The first rays of light start streaming through the window. Without really knowing how, your body knows it's time to wake up. You stretch, linger a bit in bed, and finally get up. You check the clock to see the time and turn on your phone in case you received any messages overnight. You're about to head to the kitchen for breakfast when your phone rings: indeed, there were new messages. You pick it up, open the inbox, and receive the following message from your partner: 'Look out the window.' You know them, they're a very romantic person, so anticipation and excitement fill you as you prepare for the unexpected. You peek out the window and then you see it. Written on the ground, in large letters, are the words every lover needs to hear frequently. They love you. They love you, and now you know it with more certainty, the ground that supports those words knows it too, and now half the neighborhood knows it as well. Who cares about the neighborhood, you think. They love you and they're showing it. What more could you ask for?
This little story illustrates this week's idea. Do you live near the beach or are you spending a weekend at a hotel by the sea? Write it in the sand. Don't have a beach in front of their house? No problem, a romantic is a resourceful person: that's what chalk was invented for, right? Say it in writing and in capital letters, what are you waiting for?
