Types of Kisses
Submitted by Ro.
The kiss is the first contact with our new partner. And this first contact can be so important that it may determine whether there will be a second date or not. Perhaps women place more importance on that first kiss.
The first kiss can be quite nerve-wracking for very shy people, who are extremely afraid of being rejected. Here's a little tip for them: If you want to be sure your kiss will be reciprocated, take your new partner's hand and place it between yours. If they pull away, wait for a better moment. But if he/she allows this contact for a few minutes and even places their other free hand over yours, go for that kiss. Many people, especially the younger (and more passionate) ones, confuse kissing with sticking stamps: pure linguistic exercise. Nothing could be further from the truth.
A kiss is all about feeling, and we kiss in a completely intuitive way since it's not a subject taught in school. But within that intuition, there are certain logical guidelines we should keep in mind, for example:
If you're in a public place, avoid making noise. It's not very pleasant to go to the movies and hear the slurping of the couple next to you.
Mind your breath. Especially if one of you smokes, the kiss might feel like licking an ashtray.
If you both wear glasses, take them off before kissing your partner.
And always, always, swallow before a
wet kiss.
Wet kisses are great, but no one likes them dripping.
Now let's move on to the different types of kisses. We'll leave aside, of course, those pecks we give out of obligation to family and acquaintances, which make more noise than anything else. Those don't count.
Kisses "without tongue"
These are the most sensual. But don't just limit yourself to a "muah" lips against lips. Play with them. Capture one of your partner's lips with yours. Kiss the corners of their mouth. Spread across their face, cheeks, forehead, eyelids... Brush their lips with the tip of your tongue (without actually putting it in their mouth) between kisses.
Kisses "with tongue"
These carry a greater sexual charge. If given properly, of course. Otherwise, they can almost turn your stomach, and then we know who not to go out with again. Because they don't consist of "sticking your tongue down their throat," as many believe. Also, keep in mind that your partner might like to breathe occasionally, so we shouldn't overwhelm with kisses that are too long and deep.
When kissing "with tongue," start by gently introducing the tip of your tongue into their mouth to caress your partner's tongue. Play around inside their mouth. Caress their teeth, their palate, explore their mouth. But allow your partner to play in yours too.
The best is to alternate between the two types of kisses so it feels sensual and sexual at the same time.
Kisses can be considered a sign of love, so don't forget to kiss your partner as often as possible.
Other types of kisses.
• "Pucker" or dry: Often used as a loving greeting. It can lead to a more passionate one. It's just about pressing one's lips against the other's and forming a pucker. In some countries, it's used as a common greeting among friends, without any sexual connotation.
• "Shy": Indicates there's not much trust yet. Don't worry, it quickly builds up. It might be the first of the relationship or a rushed one. There's more commitment than in the previous case, but the passion hasn't yet overwhelmed the lovers.
• "Alien": The one who kisses takes over the other's mouth, almost leaving them breathless. It's as if they want to possess the other. It shows they're a passionate being.
• "Hunter": The one giving it is overwhelmed by passion and bites the other's lips. It's recommended to use it once, to avoid leaving marks. The receiver feels like they want to be "eaten" by the other, possessed.
• "Movie-style": In the best Hollywood style. While kissing, one leans the other backward, as if inviting them to be more comfortable. This style was popularized in the movies of the '50s and became a classic. Although not used frequently, it's very romantic.
• "Passionate or fiery": It's inevitable that with this style of kiss the lovers' temperature rises. Because both forget the world and are surrendered to the senses. Without a doubt, it's one of the most erotic.
• On the neck: This is one of the most sensitive and erotic areas of the body. It complements other styles of kissing and implies greater intimacy between lovers. The receiver surrenders to the other.
